Can anyone recommend any good alternative stores in the downtown
Toronto area? Weekend store hours would be real helpful too.
Answer:
-There is only one store that matters in Toronto, and everyone will tell you
the same thing - The Beguiling. End of story.
-Most folks that I have talked with have said that The Beguiling is the
best store in Toronto (or perhaps in quite some large area) for
alternative comix. They are on 601 Markham Street and can be reached by
phone at: 416-533-9168.
-I prefer the Silver Snail. I found the Beuiling to have a good selection
but the staff way too bitter. Snail has a good selection and the staff
seems more well adjusted and suited for life outside a comic shop.
