Question:
I grew up in Norway, so I don't really know the actual issues they appeared
in the US versions, but here it goes:
First Justice League story: Where Green Lantern gets framed for blowing up a
planet, introduction of the Manhunters.
First Superman story: Kandor gets restored (and then the buildings get
destroyed)
First Legion of Super-Heroes: Brainiac 5 is crazy, and the Legion are under
attack and gets killed one by one (Blok is introduced). Very annoying,
because I didn't get the next issue until years afterwards.
First Flash story: Flash and Kid Flash has to neutralize this guy who gets
older and older (like a lifespan in 24 hours or something), and when he
dies, kahblooye, the Earth gets destroyed.
I think those were all the DC comics that were published in Norway when I
grew up (well, Batman too, but I wasn't that interested, and I can't
remember the first Batman story I read).
Answer:
-Superman and Batman team up to help a gril, possibly save her from a
vampire. It turns out the girl IS the vampire. The girl had a t-shirt
featuring the Planters mascot. Pretty sure it was pre-crisis.
That's all I remember. I was pretty young, and it was the first comic I
read. Didn't get my hands on another real comic for about eight years.
-The first DC book I remember is now framed in my den, Superman #137 (1st
series). A piece of history as it was the first imaginary story, it told
the tale of Supermenace, an evil version of Superman who was created when
Kal-El "split" into two beings on his original trip to Earth.
The superb cover is split as well, showing a serene Superboy daydreaming
about his future as Superman, while the evil version does the same for
Supermenace. If you ever get the chance...read it. It is a complete
story, following both characters from infant to the demise of Supermenace.
The art is fantastic and the story both emotional and action packed.
