Question:
I was watching SpiderMan and his Amazing Friends this morning and
realized that I didn't have a good Spiderman to make my own little
group. Anyone have any suggestions for an easily obtainable SpiderMan
to match the ToyFare Firestar and color changing Iceman?
Hey and I've got another quick question...I was flipping through some
Spider-Man comic book the other day and I saw Aunt May. Isn't she dead?
I realize it was a Marvel death, but how did she come back?
Answer:
-I think they still have a multi-posable Spidey being offered at Kay-Bees and
Toy Works, and WalMarts (those are the only places I've seen them) on the
Marvel Universe cards. That ought to work if you want a not-so-detailed, and
easy to find Spidey.
Norman Osborn brainwashed some actress into being Aunt May when she died, and
changed DNA, and all that kooky stuff on the actress. He then kept the real
Aunt May alive. It's pretty confusing, but I'm glad they just relaunched the
books, I've been really enjoying Chapter One, and the relaunches of Peter
Parker: SpiderMan (Romita art...) and Amazing Spiderman, which is strange
'cause I haven't really looked foward to reading the Spider-Books since back
before the whole Clone Fiasco.
-I actually think the Bug Busters Spiderman is pretty slick. He's in the basic
costume, He's well articulated without it interfering with his look, and he
doesn't have those damned etched-in webs, which I really don't care for.
Plus, he should be readliy available still. Maybe even at 3/$10 at KayBee.
Well, in one of the stupider moves Marvel has done, it was revealed that Aunt
May never really died at all. Norman Osborn kidnapped her, and replaced with
an actress that had been surgically altered to look exactly like her, and had
been heavily coached in her life's story. She died, and Peter got on with his
life. Now, Aunt May's back, she doesn't
